Biography
Tislarm Bouie was born in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from the Professional Performing Arts School of New York City, as a dance major in partnership with The Ailey School.
He received his B.F.A. in dance from The University of the Arts. Tislarm was a member of Philadanco’s 2nd Company, Ronald K. Brown’s Evidence Dance Company (US Tour), performed with Chinese recording artist Jo (Chinese Tour). He has been featured in commercials for Macy’s, 2014 World Cup, Champs NBA Playoff Highlights, as well as a dancer on NBC’s new series Manhattan Love Story.
His choreography has been featured at the Young Choreographers Festival, Dumbo Dance Festival, Making Moves Dance Festival, Kat Wildish Dance Showcase and Reverb Dance Festival.
Commercially Tislarm’s choreography was featured on the Cocoa-Cola Tour with Def Jam recording artist Karina Pasian. He is excited to see what “The Love of His Life” dance has to offer.
