Biography
From St. Petersburg, FL, Lisa L. Boogie Bauford, started her dance career with Engima Dance Crew, which appeared on America’s Best Dance Crew. After winning numerous dance battles in the Tampa Bay area, Lisa signed with Flipz Entertainment of L.A.
Soon after signing, Lisa joined the cast of iLuminate and performed with them first in Atlanta at Six Flags Over Georgia. Immediately after Six Flags, she moved to New York City to open iLuminate’s Artist of Light series, in New York at the Duke Theater. It then moved Off-Broadway to New World Stages. Starlight Jones, Lisa’s character in Artist of Light, is a favorite of the audience, appearing in the CBS March Madness commercial, which Lisa choreographed, in Google’s Made with Code commercial, on The Wendy Williams Show, Good Morning America, and America’s Got Talent.
She is a member of iLuminate’s World Tour Corporate cast, an opportunity which has taken her to Paris, Mexico, and the Central Asian countries of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Guadalajara and Malaysia.
In addition to her performance work, Lisa is a choreographer and master teacher extraordinaire.
