Biography
Straight from Wapakoneta, Ohio, Kent Boyd launched himself as a ‘fan favorite’ and Season 7 runner up from Fox’s hit dance competition reality show SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Immediately after completing the show, he departed on a 40-city tour around the US with the top 10 dancers and various ‘All Stars’ from past seasons. Kent returned to SYTYCD in Season 8 as an “All Star” in addition to an encore performance on the finale. Kent has appeared in multiple episodes of the Disney Channel hit show SHAKE IT UP, Fox’s GLEE & MOBBED, and can also be seen as a recurring role as “Jordan” on the ABC Family series BUNHEADS.
Kent recently finished production on a high profile Disney Channel production TEEN BEACH MUSICAL which will be released in 2013, playing the lovable “Rascal.” He is currently shooting an independent feature film STEPPING HIGH.
Kent continues to appear at various dance workshops around the country, including Hollywood Vibe and Excel In Motion. He has also appeared in various web series and youtube videos such as Teen.com’s BFF and the Clique Click.
